Covent Garden Opera Festival

Puccini Madama Butterfly 7 and 8 June 2024

The Covent Garden Opera Festival and Academy is a platform for emerging opera singers to perform Puccini Madama Butterfly at one of the most prestigious concert venues in the world St John’s Smith Square in the heart of London with three performances on 7 and 8 June 2024.
Competition winners could also be invited as guest soloists to perform with the London City Philharmonic in the 2024-2025 or 2025- 2026 season.
Singers will work and rehearse the Opera with piano and orchestra under the guidance of Olsi Qinami and the London City Philharmonic Orchestra.
Concert with piano on 6 June 2024 (free choice of repertoire) at St James Paddington in central London.

1 concert with piano at St James Paddington on 6 June 2024 (free choice of programme)
Music agents will attend the Opera performances of Madama Butterfly and the concert at St James Paddington (this could be an opportunity to be noticed and signed up by an agent)
